2012，成龍溼地國際環境藝術節，雲林
漂流木、漁燈、菜櫥、抽屜、雙聲道音軌、立體聲喇叭、耳機
許雁婷為2012成龍溼地國際環境藝術節的駐村藝術家之一。
成龍村是一個雲林縣口湖鄉沿海村落，大約五十年前，它仍然是一個農村，直到三十年前左右，幾個嚴重的颱風侵襲及長期超抽地下水的因素，使這個農村變成一個大溼地。溼地中還囊括了好幾位村民的農地或土地。而百年前，村民也曾倚靠大海生存，在外傘頂洲討漁。現在，多數居民擁有他們自己的魚塭，養殖水產品，如蛤礪、魚或白蝦。
2012年的主題「誰來晚餐」，提問食物哪裡來，食物如何被生產。許雁婷創作了兩支聲音紀錄片作品，在一棟廢棄的老三合院中產出，分別展出於不同的房間中。除了聲音外，也帶入不同視覺元素，如以漂流木製作音響支架、廢棄漁燈重新作為燈具，以老裁縫車抽屜作為耳機掛架……等。這些素材與老房子的時間感都與聲音內容相互呼應。
在《聲色可餐》中，許雁婷錄了許多溼地與村落中的環境聲音，用現下的聲音與村中長 輩的俗諺、詩歌唸唱，試圖回溯一點成龍村產業/生活型態的轉變:從外傘頂洲討海， 農村生活以至現在的養殖、水產品分級包裝。透過對成龍村的再次聆聽，期望當地民眾 對這環境有更多注意與想像。其中一支引用在地漢學老師田桑卿特別為雲林縣口湖鄉成 龍村撰寫的「古今牛尿港庄雜唸歌」，娓娓道來從日治時代至今的村民故事。節錄了部 份他本人的唸唱，結合成龍村的在地聲音，作成一首聲音短篇。
Yenting Hsu was selected as one of residency artists in 2012 Cheng Long International Environmental Art Festival. Cheng Long is a coastal village in Yunlin, west-southern city in Taiwan. About fifty years ago, it’s still an agricultural village. From about thirty years ago, several enormous typhoons and over pumping of the groundwater, made this agricultural village become a big wetland. The wetland actually includes many villagers’ farms and lands. And, even earlier, about one century ago, villagers depended on the sea to make their living, like fishing oysters in offshore. Nowadays, most villagers have their own farms for producing aquatic productions, like claims, fishes and shrimps.
The theme of the festival was “What’s for Dinner?” Questioning where the food comes from and how the food is produced. Hsu proposed to make two pieces of audio documentaries and play them in an old abandoned house in the village. Hsu presented her two sound pieces in separate rooms on an abandoned red-brick village home, bringing elements of mixed media installation into her sound art practice.
For her work Sounds Delicious, Hsu recorded sounds of the wetlands and intermixed them with local song-poetry to create a narrative history of the area, from its origins as a fishing village, its transition to an agricultural economy and then the return to seafood production, a cycle produced by shifting environmental conditions.
